Conservation Park is a popular recreation area spanning nearly 3,000 acres. The park features 24 miles of trails, a covered pavilion, wildlife observation areas, and a mile-long boardwalk through cypress domes. Residents can enjoy Frank Brown Park in the heart of the city. The 100-acre green space has sports fields and courts like shuffleboard, batting cages, tennis courts, and more. It also features dog parks, a 20-acre festival site for community events, and an aquatic center with an Olympic size pool. 
 
Shipwreck Island Waterpark is a 15-acre seasonal park with exhilarating water slides, a lazy river, and a wave pool. Many families converge at this exciting waterpark for lots of fun in the sun. 
 
U.S. Navy Seal divers created the Man in The Sea Museum, a diver’s paradise aimed at showcasing underwater technology, art, and habitats. A dive beneath the waves here means up-close views of sunken ships, submarines, and other educational displays.
